Twenty years have passed since three important events: the battle of Hogwarts, the last sighting of the Dark Mark, and the death of the You-Know-Who. In a whole hearted attempt to bring justice to the Wizarding world, and prosecute those who were at fault, the Ministry and the ever famous Trio made a public vow to hunt down and capture any remaining Death Eaters. Voldemort’s inner circle was the hardest hit, with punishments as severe as the Dementor’s Kiss. If you happened to release names and drag others down with you, then your sentence was downgraded to a mere lifetime sentence to Azkaban. Soon enough, those who remained as loyal followers of the Dark Lord were few and far between. If they were at all intelligent, they went into hiding. Some people still believed the death of Voldemort was impossible, and they waited for him to reappear at any moment. That, sadly for some, did not happen. Nor did the reappearance of those captured by the Ministry.
Everything in the Wizarding world went back to a new normal. Families began rebuilding themselves, the Order was disbanded, the ministry cleaned house and Hogwarts instated a new Head Master. Things seemed to be going good, everyone was looking towards the brighter days of the future. Therein lies the problem. They were focused straight ahead, with blinders on, and guess what? The old adage came true: History repeats itself. To the old Death Eaters, this period of happiness IS their darkness. Fortunately, dawn is coming, in the form of an old Death Eater, claiming to be the new Dark Lord. He was an integral part of both wars, never letting Voldemort down, always the epitome of a Death Eater. Today, he vows to lead those of the new generation, and destroy all of those who betrayed himself, his friends, and most importantly his master.
This man, by the name of Issac Draughtwood, could quite possibly be the downfall of the entire Wizarding World, once again. Thus far, no prophecies have been made, but Draughtwood has some very important and valuable information none the less. He has in his possession a list. Two lists, actually. One is a list of very important and very privileged men, who have been devoted and upstanding enough to stay in Draughtwood’s good graces and earn themselves a place in the new ring of Death Eaters. The second list is much more dreadful. It contains the names of all individuals who have disrespected and betrayed him and who he stands for. These individuals and their families are to be destroyed, through whatever means necessary. You might be thinking, what does this mean for the good families? Long time Order supporters? Well at the moment, this new Dark Lord is still in hiding, his plans have been revealed to no one. But as in the past, as things begin to spiral out of hand, old hierarchies will be reestablished and former radical groups will be reformed. if I were you, however, I would choose wisely. You never know who’s in disguise, and just where their allegiances fall. Besides, are you really brave enough to get in the way of a darkness reborn?
